I have BIG NEWS!
I am incredibly honored to announce that from July 2016 through January 2017, I will be an Integrative Care Fellow in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
I will be observing, learning, and providing care to pediatric patients in the hospital and in the outpatient Journey Clinic, as well as collecting data for an original research capstone project. I will also have the opportunity to participate in courses at the Center for Spirituality and Healing in the fall term. I am incredibly grateful for the many hands, hearts, and minds that have done the administrative work to make this fellowship a reality, and especially for Dr. Lynn Gershan, MD, Pediatrician and Medical Director, Pediatric Integrative Medicine.
I have immense gratitude for the teachers, professors, and mentors who have given me the gift of Chinese medicine, shown me its power, and have supported me through my education and my life as a growing practitioner! I am truly blown away that my dream of continuing to work and learn at Masonic is, in fact, coming true. I am excited beyond words to work with kids and their families and caregivers, and support the movement of bringing Integrative Care into the U of M system. My experiences there as a student intern last year were life-changing. So here I am, plunging back in to student life, and I couldn’t be more excited.
